Ellers går det jo an å si "corrupt rule", men det passer kanskje ikke så godt på det norske storting slik ordet pampevelde er brukt i artikkelen.

pampevelde står oversatt til "tyranny of party bosses" i Kunnskapsforlagets "Engelsk blå ordbok".

Det ligger vel i uttrykket at disse bossene er ganske bossy (sjefete, dominerende, herskesyke).
