How do you folks deal with Pleonasms like this one?

Yes, it is the same. I think the author wants to use the word "service", but in plural. The Norwegian plural form of "service" is not very common - that's why he adds "tjenester".

Asker: This has nothing to do with maintenance. We are in IT here. My problem is the word servicetjenest is redundant and stupid, is it not? service and tjeneste mean the same thing no matter how you slice it...
