Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Construction / Civil Engineering / waste management systems
Norwegian term or phrase: råskakk
I am not too sure what this is called in English, although I think I understand the concept. According to "Store Norske Leksikon", a råskakk is a "vinkelfeil i en tilsiktet rektangelform, slik at man istedet får en rombeform. Råskakk unngås ved å kontrollere at diagonalene er like lange."

Any suggestion would be appreciated. I thought of "uneven/unequal rectangle/angle" (of course, a rectangle by definition cannot be uneven..)

distortion

Explanation:
(Fits the context. If the angle is not 90 degrees, you get a rhomboid instead of a rectangle.)
The distortion is eliminated if one checks to ensure that the diagonals are equal.
