See the following text/definition: "Arbeidssangen eller oppsangen har tradisjonelt vært knyttet til en arbeidsprosess. Sangen kunne regulere og påvirke rytmen i arbeidet. Det kalles taktsang. Den kan også gi signal eller beskjed til de arbeidende. Dette kaller vi ropsang."

I find no clear cut/corresponding distinction in English, I am leaning towards call-and-response song. Is somebody wiser?
