Norwegian term or phrase: kulehodeskrivemaskin med rettetast
This comes up in an interview in English with a Norwegian woman who is celebrating 35 years of service with a hotel company. I don't speak any Norwegian so apart from finding rettetast as backspace in the KOG, and assuming 'med' = with (based on knowledge of Dutch/German), I'm clueless.

What can you say about the changes in the hotel industry over the past 35 years?
The technical development, from old telex machines and IBM “kulehodeskrivemaskin med rettetast” to the IT-world with computers, mobiles, e-mail, etc.

BTW, hope it is Norwegian this time - she was actually born in Sweden but has spent all her working life in Norway and now has Norwegian nationality.

Think I'll stick with the name of the typewriter and add a bit of explanation. Though if the reader's not old enough to recognise the name, s/he may not even understand the explanation ;-)

Unfortunately, I'm old enough to be able to say I've actually used these.... ,-). Also known as "golfball typewriters", thanks to IBM.
