I found one document:

It's just an expression they have made up. It's not a phrase like WYSIWYG or "Last In, First Out". And as you can see, they explain what they mean with the expression, something which is essential if not only used internally.

I get his point. The system has an included in and consists of solution.

"inngår i / består løsning" is surely not a real phrase. The meaning of the phrase is hard to grasp.

Which sentence do you want to translate? Does the source document say "Det ble bygget en inngår i-består av løsning"?

I assume that the phrase is computer terminology. Like WYSIWYG, Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), Last In, First Out (LIFO).
Then again, I may be wrong. I couldn't find anything when Googling.
That is why I am crying for help from my trusted associates at ProZ!

Please remember that there should only be one phrase in each Kudoz question.

"inngår i en serie som består av" could be translated to:
"is part of a serie consisting of".
