Norwegian to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical: Health Care / Patient record
Norwegian term or phrase:LIS
I suppose the Norwegian term 'LIS' is an abbreviation of a medical title, most likely a specialized hospital doctor.
Can anyone provide me with an explanation of the term and, hopefully, also suggest a translation into English?
Explanation: I may be barking up the wrong tree here, however, since you state that you are translating patient records, this may be what you are looking for as LIS is an acronym for a laboratory information system. Please see link.
