Licensed attorneys are required to complete a certain number of CLE (continuing legal eduction) units and report them in order to maintain the license to practice law. My (Minnesota) requirements are 45 units every three years. Doctors/physicians have similar (CME - continuing medical education) requirements to maintain their licenses. |
