Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Instruments / hip screws, orthopaedics
Norwegian term or phrase: naglelaken
This is getting ridiculous - yet another term for which I can't find any reference at all, naglelaken. Orthopaedics, pelvic examination.
Phrase: 3 stenger for naglelaken oppheng, which is under the 'preoperative preparation' section.
Anyone relate to this term?

hook sheet
Explanation:
This is obviously some kind of 'sheet' - but that could mean anything.

Could it be a 'hook sheet' as here?

or here?

I've been wondering all day how 'nail varnish' could possibly be involved!!! I simply had to find the answer...

Nagellack is Swedish, I know, but that's what it looked like at first glance.

It just goes to show how dangerous false friends can be.
