Norwegian term or phrase: Pasientens E-nr.
Listed along with other information, e.g. Centre No., Study code etc. Does anyone know what the "E" stands for?

Explanation:
Just a guess really. Everyone is entitled to one. It means that if you fall ill in say, Spain you show the card (it's like a credit card) and it means you don't pay. I think.

i.e. everyone is entitled to a E number (if you are an EU/EEA citizen).

If you check out www.ehic.org.uk you will find that it's called a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) (if that's what it means). Good luck!
