Norwegian term or phrase: smittefrakk
In the light of the current efforts to reduce/eliminate infections such as MRSA from hospitals, and the associated hygiene measures, can anyone tell me whether a 'smittefrakk' is a surgical gown, or does it have another name to imply the extra anti-infection measures, e.g. hygiene gown or similar?
In contrast, 'smittetøy' are 'infectious clothing', but I can't find any references to 'infectious gown' - hardly surprising, as that would only make sense if it were soiled after an operation. It would be nice to be able to use the 'current' term if there is an appropriate one.
Advice appreciated.

contamination gown
Explanation:
I'd say it's probably like a surgical gown, which itself sounds a little overbearing when no surgeons are implicated...

Infectious gown, incidentally, will never make it as a fashion accessory. This would be a gown already infected and still contagious - not something you'd wear if you could help it.

Thanks, Per - client suggested anti-contamination (worn by anyone from surgeons to cleaners in the documents I'm doing).
