Norwegian term or phrase: befruktningsdyktig alder
I know what's meant, but I can't put my finger on a good, succinct translation. Note please that the source also uses "fruktbar alder". Ideally, I'd like to be able to use distinct terms for these in English as well. I'm posting a corollary question for the latter.

Explanation:
You've probably already considered this but anything else just sounds kind of odd and "constructed" to me if this is for a US English text.

Asker: Amazingly, it had slipped my mind as I clearly (and painfully) overthought this one. Diarmuid was in here earlier with it -- that's why I'm coaxing him to come back with it again. :-)
