Art/Literary - Names (personal, company) / Heavy Metal, Band Lingo | | Norwegian term or phrase: Svigermord | | I have a somewhat unusual question... An old Norwegian class mate of mine is in a band called "Svigermord" - literally translated as "mother-in-law murder", but in Norwegian it is a play on words. Don't ask me why - and I think they mainly play heavy metal type stuff. He has asked for a suggestion on how to cleverly translate this term into English. Any ideas? Suggestions? All I can think of that is remotely clever is "Mother-in-Claw", but what do you all think??? |
