English translation:bubble trousers / training trousers
Explanation:

bole = bubble, bulge (Clue-dictionary)

(trousers made of bubble textile)

"bolebukser" also refers to sweat/training trousers used by "muscle men" (specially in the 80`s and often connected to the use of anabolic steroids, therefore the "bole" name). It`s hard to imagine that these trousers are "hot" again, but who knows? ;o)
I am not sure what they call these trousers in english, but perhaps you do.

I am not 100 % sure about this, it is only suggestions.

Hope it helps a bit, good luck!

Thank you very much, Lissa. Finding a translation is still a problem, but I am much clearer about the derivation.

neutral  Roald Toskedal: I agree 100% on the "Anabolic" part, but aren't these pants the "military" camouflage type, sort of multicolored "olive drab"?
