I think these are the first two lines of a prayer used before meals-- I suppose I have to submit one line at a time so here we go....and I'll submit again and again...

One tip, since you are linguistically inclined:
In English it's spelled "receive."
The way most people remember the rule is:
"i" before "e" except after "c."

Thanks for the translation--It's very close to the one my mother had written, so I'm glad to clarify the definition with a native speaker of Norwegian.
