Norwegian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Ships, Sailing, Maritime / Accident-at-sea
Norwegian term or phrase: håteboksen
May well be a mis-spelling for hateboks or sthg else, as is taken from a handwritten report to London underwriters.

Context: marine insurance claim on a Norwegian-chartered, but Spanish vessel.

...jeg fikk los plastkassen som inneholt (sic.) Redningsflåten (sic.), kasten den i vannet, hadde allerede da observert att *Håteboksen* (sic.) hadde tau festet til Yate X.

Tusen takk for opplysning
