Slang
Norwegian term or phrase: rocka
Today is the day I regret that I still haven't got around to buying "Rocka, hipt og snacksy"..

The context is a building company describing its stand at a major exhibition. "Selve standen var "digital og rocka"... storskjerm ... musikkvideoer.."

rough / rough-edged

Explanation:
In my opinion "rocking" has to do with an excited atmosphere, i.e. a "rocking concert". "Rocka" in Norwegian has in my opinion more to do with appearance, i.e. a rough, unconventional style.
