Polish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Agriculture | | Polish term or phrase: gospodarstwo rolniczo-pracownicze | chodzi o kategorię gospodarstw rolnych (w odróżnieniu od rolniczych, pracowniczych, pracowniczo-rolniczych i jeszcze innych)
zwłaszcza rozróżnienie pracowniczo-rolnicze i rolniczo-pracownicze wydaje mi się kompletnie nieuchwytne... polska biurokracja - i nie mogę jej tłumaczyć z uproszczeniami ani omownie, trzeba przekazać nawet dziwaczny sens |

| | primarily farming household | Explanation: I would guess the difference between a g r-p and a g p-r is that the first gets most of its income from farming whereas for the second farming is a secondary source of income. I think in English I would use farming and wage-earning as the main terms. Thus you get: solely farming hosehold, primarily farming household (or farming/wage-earning household), primarily wage-earning hosehold (wage-earning/farming hosehold), solely wage-earning household. |

Asker: seems right, and there's no problem with "household" - I have to use a very clumsy term "agricultural holding" (blame OECD, not me)
