Explanation:
Bobowce, strączkowce, strąkowce (Fabales Bromhead) – grupa roślin okrytonasiennych stanowiąca klad wyróżniany w randze rzędu w różnych systemach klasyfikacyjnych.
W zależności od przyjętej systematyki do rzędu tego zalicza się trzy rodziny
- Mimosaceae - mimozowate,
- Caesalpinaceae - brezylkowate
- Fabaceae - bobowate

Tak więc rośliny bobowe/bobowce (fabales) nie są identyczne z roślinami bobowatymi/motylkowatymi (fabaceae), bo te drugie sa niżej w klasyfikacji od tych pierwszych (grupa > rodzina). Chociaż czasem dla uproszczenia klasyfikacji mówi się, że bobowce mają tylko jedną rodzinę (bobowatych), a te z kolei mają 3 podrodziny: Faboideae, Mimosoideae i Cesalpinoideae.
