neutral  leff: problem w tym, że 'potash' i 'potash salt' najczęściej odnoszą się do węglanu potasu. Natomiast nasza 'sól potasowa' to jednak chlorek.

agree  bistefano: Preferrable IMHO, 'cause many chem compounds made of potassium and an acid-derived group are called "salts" of potassium

sól potasowa
potassium chloride

Explanation:
"Potassium compounds are very important in agriculture and to lesser extent in the manufacture of explosives. Potassium chloride, KCl, is a naturally occurring potassium salt that is used as fertilizer and as a raw material for the production of other important potassium compounds."

Nawóz, noszący u nas nazwę soli potasowej, to właśnie chlorek potasu.

A w kontekście nawozowym często jest też używane określenie \'muriate of potash\'
