"Pudlarz" w tym kontekście nie ma nic wspólnego z "puddling", etymologia wydaje się tu czysto polska - chodzi o pudłowanie, czyli nietrafianie do celu. Nie do końca rozumiem jednak termin "praktyki pudlarskie" - przydałoby się więcej kontekstu.

Myślę, że wersje "bad shot-related...", ew. "bad shooter-related..." również byłyby OK, wszytko jednak zależy od szerszego kontekstu.
