Mam tylko pewne zastzreżenie do własnej odpowiedzi... ;)
'Dach świata' to moim zdaniem w tym przypadku po prostu 'coś bardzo ważnego'. Nie jestem tylko pewna, czy 'the roof of the world' może być użyte jako dobry odpowiednik polskiej przenośni.
