zwłaszcza jeśli mowa o ircu lub listach dyskusyjnych...

tzw. kopa dostaje się za drobne przewinienie,
ale po nim można bez problemu wrócić na kanał
(jest to kara ostrzegawcza)

ale kiedy opom (operatorom; to ktoś w rodzaju naszych
moderatorów) podpadnie się bardziej, wtedy dostaje się
tzw. bana i nie można wrócić na kanał aż do odwołania,
tzn. do momentu, kiedy jakiś op bana nie cofnie
