The Charlotte Huck Children’s Literature Festival
Focusing on children's literature grades K-8, Literature Festival 2012 will feature small group presentations by educators, librarians, authors, illustrators, and scholars in the field of children's literature. You will have an opportunity to attend small group Meet-the-Author Sessions, an informal conversation between those attending and the author, illustrator, or editor.
Unique to is an opportunity for local teachers and their students to study the work of one children’s book author or illustrator and then come to the festival to share the learning that has taken place in their classroom and to meet this author/illustrator.
