Daisy7: 10:45am Jun 5, 2006: ps.
Caryl Swift: 10:51am Jun 5, 2006: Please see the notes I've added to my original answer. As for HM Inland Revenue and Customs-in broad terms that's tax, customs and excise-this might help:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HM_Revenue_and_Customs - 24k -

Caryl Swift: 12:10pm Jun 5, 2006: My pleasure! I just hope it's of help :-) -
Mariusz Kuklinski: 11:34am Jun 6, 2006: Oops, HM Revenue and Customs, podległa Treasury. Wypłatami zajmuje się natomiast The Pensions Service, wchodząca w skład Department for Work and Pensions. Take your choice :-) -
Mariusz Kuklinski: 6:57pm Jun 15, 2006: I hate to spoil the fun but the short answer is, there is no British equivalent to ZUS. Please kindly note 1) "work" in the British department as well as 2) the fact that Northern Ireland is not a part of Britain. -

neutral Caryl Swift: National Insurance is the equivalent of the 'ZUS' that we pay, but not, as far as I know of the institutions who receive and adminster the money and so on.
