Oczywiście jest to typowy zwrot, który służy podkreśleniu wspólnoty majątkowej oraz spełnieniu wymogu czynności przekraczającej "zwykły zarząd" w myśl kodeksu cywilnego.

Jestem ciekawy czy macie jakąś wypracowaną angielską formułkę; chciałbym ją porównać ze swoją. Z góry dziękuję za propozycje.

neutral Andrzej Mierzejewski: she is Kowalska, he is Kowalski, so is Kowalscy a different family name? You'll have to explain Polish grammar issues to Anglosaxon authority, I'm afraid.

  -> ! Only a propostion. Second and third genration Polish don't maintain the different endings so I didn't seperate them. I probably should have used ...ski. Though the partners in marriage is the important bit here.

@ Andrzej Mierzejewski: IMHO, wystarczy podać "męską" i "żeńską" formę nazwiska, bo w przypadkach, gdy żona zachowała panieńskie nazwisko, to przecież nie wyjaśniamy, dlaczego nie ma tego samego nazwiska, co mąż.
