We wczesnym okresie rehabilitacji (do 3 mies. od udaru mózgu) dominują zakażenia w układzie oddechowym, zaburzenia świadomości oraz upadki. Padaczka naczyniowa jest jedynym powikłaniem częściej stwierdzanym w okresie późnym (powyżej 3 mies.) od udaru.
Urinary tract infections, pneumonias, mental disorders and falls were more common up to three months from the onset of stroke, while epileptic seizures occurred more frequently over three months after stroke.
