neutral  pidzej: Unlike the author, I know the expression all right. I objected to the preposition - must be 'ze' not 'w'. But the union emerges unscathed if the conflict was over its very existence or position, not over a pay issue or manning levels, oK?

  -> I think the preposition "w" is ok. I might prefer "z" but "w" does the job.
