Opuściłem przymiotnik "different" umyślnie (chociaż pojawiał się nawet częściej niż "various/variable"), ale okazuje się, że też może być użyty (jednak ze szkodą dla jednoznaczności):

Asker: Ja znalazlam cos takiego na Wikipedii: "In optics, chromatic aberration is caused by a lens having a different refractive index for different wavelengths of light (the dispersion of the lens)"
