Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / neologisms | | Polish term or phrase: płaszczak | Poszukuję utartego terminu w American English ( chociaż tu chyba UK/US jest bez znaczenia) na nazwę mieszkańców. Jest to polskie tłumaczenie oryginału, i o ten oryginał mi właśnie chodzi (termin z książki "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions"). Może ktoś się zetknął z tym neologizmem? Nie chciałabym wymyślać tłumaczenia dla czegoś, co oryginalnie zostało wymyślone w j. angielskim...
