Polish term or phrase:Współsprawczyni naszej radości
This is a fragment of a monograph as stipulated above within the field of theology (Mariology); hence the obvious 'cause' cannot be kept and I do need to express the "co-" since the Triune God collaborates here as well. I have some options and was looking for confirmation. "Contributer" perhaps?

A skoro "współ" będzie faktycznie potrzebne, to nielichy to orzech do zgryzienia. Co-maker? Co-author? Co-cause? (to jak czkawka brzmi ;-)) All these sound equally clumsy... Przecież nie "accomplice", for Heaven's sake... ;-)))
IMHO wersja z "cause" może pasować nawet jako tłumaczenie WSPÓŁsprawczyni, a tytuł rozdziału tylko to potwierdza: nie jest to "THE (only) cause" tylko "cause". Chyba, że faktycznie autorowi z jakiegoś powodu zależy na dodatkowym zaakcentowaniu tego WSPÓŁ... Jak coś mi przyjdzie do głowy to wpiszę, na razie przekonuje mnie propozycja Rafała.
Tak czy inaczej, faktycznie za mało tu kontekstu...
I w tym zagwozdka :-) Proszę, zacytuj oryginał PO POLSKU; rozumiem, ze TYTUŁ to "Przyczyna/o etc.", a potem się pojawia "współsprawczyni"?... Bo raz: Takiego złożenia NIE MA, przynajmniej w "oficjalnych" tekstach modlitw (co nie znaczy, że wiernemu nie wolno się modlić dowolnymi słowami). I teraz: czy chcesz, by koniecznie tę "współsprawczynię" tam wlepić, bo taka jest/była intencja autora, czy dopuszczać możliwość "poprawienia". Np. tłumacze Wałęsy nie tłumaczyli jego "szłem" na "I gone", right? Ale już w książkach rejestr trzeba oddawać w miarę możliwości jak najdokładniej (slang itp.)
To sum up: rozjaśnij kontekst: dla kogo/jaki to jest tekst etc.
This is too general "cause" = przyczyno; the title of the chapter I translate goes: "Cause of our joy"; so there's a need to express it in a more detail, thanks for a nice try anyway

Co więcej, "współsprawczyni" nie gugla (prawie) wcale; za to "przyczyna" jak najbardziej. I to jest, jak rozumiem, oficjalnie przyjęta przez katolików wersja (ta druga, rzecz jasna) :-)
