Wydaje mi się, że tak będzie najlepiej. Skoro ¶więci się ¶wiece (l.mn.), a nie ¶wiecę (l.poj.), to chyba należy to zachować w tłumaczeniu. "Candlemas", czyli nazwa ¶więta, moim zdaniem nie wchodzi w tym przypadku w rachubę.
Nie wiem niestety, jakie reguły rz±dz± użyciem "the" w takich inwokacjach. "Our Lady of the Candles" też pewnie mogłoby być.
"Our Lady of Candles" pojawia się w sieci (115 stron wg Gugla), ale najczę¶ciej jako tłumaczenie hiszpańskich nazw ko¶ciołów lub ¶wi±t, więc trudno się na te wyniki powoływać.
