mud - obejmuje zarówno clay- mniejsze cząstki, i silt - większe cząstki. Tak chyba najbezpieczniej to przetłumaczyć. Alluvium obejmuje także piasek, a przecież ten jestniżej. Brak większego kontekstu nie pozwala na bardziej precyzyjną odpowiedź.

neutral  3am: nie ma takiego słowa jak "aggradate", czasownik to "aggrade", a przymiotnik to "aggradational". Do słownika z linku, po pobieżnym przeglądnięciu podchodziłbym z rezerwą.
