Dziekuje wszystkimi. Zgadza sie ze zalezy kto mowi i jaka sytuacja. Tak wlasciwie to ja nie myslalam ze "KURDE" to jest uznawane za przeklenstwo. Najbardziej mi pasuje "DAMN"

Marzena, it all depends on social context - if the person saying 'kurde' is talking with his/her gran, then probably they'll use a word such as 'bother, gosh, sugar, blimey ... ' and the list goes on, as we can see from the answers. However, if they're among peers, then words such as ' shit, bloody, bugger, sodding etc.' can and will probably be used. A lot depends on intonation, too. I also think that, generally speaking, British people use swear words more freely than Poles.

czy kurde to jest "old lady kind of swear word". To raczej swear word używany, gdy nie chcesz / nie możesz rzucić czymś mocniejszym, każdy wie czym.

Kjub, this is exactly what came to my mind. These two seem as stupid and pathetic as each other, as if the speaker wanted to swear, but just couldn't. Old lady kind of swear word. "Bloomin" instead of "bloody" is another one. :)
