Social context 06:46 Nov 24, 2009
Marzena, it all depends on social context - if the person saying 'kurde' is talking with his/her gran, then probably they'll use a word such as 'bother, gosh, sugar, blimey ... ' and the list goes on, as we can see from the answers. However, if they're among peers, then words such as ' shit, bloody, bugger, sodding etc.' can and will probably be used. A lot depends on intonation, too. I also think that, generally speaking, British people use swear words more freely than Poles. |
