Masse non sospese (unsprung mass)
Definizione: Unsprung mass (massa non molleggiata) invece è il termine che definisce tutto quello che rimane al di sotto dalla molla. Vale a dire le ruote con le gomme, i freni con le pinze, il mozzo ecc.
