Valeu! Agora faz sentindo, que mistério. Nunca tinha visto esta abreviação. Fiquei traduzindo como se fosse "Conselho Fiscal Estadual" pois trata-se de assuntos contábeis. Ainda bem que vi o erro em tempo.

Portanto, no Brasil usa já a sigla do Inglês

Re-reading the context of the question, the example is a residence...the CFE reference cited has to do with Intellectual Property, so perhaps it is a coincidence of abbreviations and nothing more. But you might want to look into it. CFE for "conforme" sounds/looks strange to me.

My first thought (before Googling) was something along the lines of (Cadastro/Código/Conservatória? Finanças? Estatal?) would be logical but I confess I don't know what the official governmental departments are there. Remove the 5 in confidence!
