audit, financial audit, financial/legal audit Explanation: That's how I would probably translate it. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 hrs (2006-10-28 04:37:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "perícia" on its own can be various kinds of expert examination, however in this context we use the word audit (although Portuguese also has the word "auditoria" which they is not always used in precisely the same context). Financial audit is definitely how we say "perícia contábil", basically an examination of a company's financial statements and accounts; you can go to any US or UK accounting firm's website and see for yourself. |
