The full sentence reads:
"Nota 24. A empresa não adiantou qualquer importância sob a forma de empréstimo concedido aos membros dos órgãos de administração, de direcção e de fiscalização da empresa."

"Importância" is actually an old-fashioned term for "quantias". |

| Grading comment This really helped my out during my 'hora do aperto'. I've actually got 'importância' down in my personal glossary as 'sum', but I couldn't get past 'não adiantou' in this phrase - it combined (in my head) to read something like "...it's of no use and of any importance...".
