Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting / Financial Management | | Portuguese term or phrase: atos e fatos administrativos | Hello everybody!
I've been trying to translate this apparently simple phrase but I haven't made up my mind due to the specificities involved in the original meaning in Portuguese, and the meanings of the words "act" and "action".
Please have a look at the context (Portuguese) below:
"Atos Administrativos é uma ação praticada pela administração que não provoca (podendo vir a provocar) alteração qualitativa e/ou quantitativa no patrimônio da entidade, portanto, a princípio, não interessa à contabilidade.
"Como exemplos deste atos, temos: Admissão de empregados, assinaturas de contratos de seguros, o aval (garantia) dada em títulos, etc. etc.
(...)
"Fatos Administrativos, que também são conhecidos como FATOS CONTABEIS, são acontecimentos verificados na empresa que provocam variações nos elementos patrimonais, podendo alterar ou não, a situação Líquida Patrimonial."
