Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting / Statement of profit and loss
Portuguese term or phrase: Ganhos / perdas imputados de subsidiárias
This is a heading from a statement of profit and loss. Would this be just 'gains / losses in subsidiaries' or am I missing something here?

Any help will be much appreciated!

profits/losses in subsidiaries

Explanation:
I don´t think you are missing anything. I believe it is just transporting the profits/losses in subsidiaries to the profit and loss statement of the controlling company.

Profits / Losses Attributed to the Subsidiaries

Explanation:
My translation is the same as Martin with the exception of "attributed to" to include "imputados". Is this important? Maybe. If in the context of the document, there is any doubt at all as to whether the profits and losses attributed to the subsidiaries might not be accurate, then in that casae "attributed to" could be important, in the sense that the is the "alleged" amount of profits and losses and not necessarily the actual profits and losses. Then again, it may not be important. But, since I don't know, I would include it anyway.
