Sou tradutora, não sou do ramo de confecções, mas sei q o termo facção é usado entre fabricantes e leigos como eu.
Nunca traduzi um contrato de facção e tinha apenas uma referência> travail à façon = toll manufacturing.
Tradutora-curiosa (e xereta), aproveitei a oportunidade para fazer uma pesquisa básica a partir dos termos acima.
Além disso, busquei uma definição razoalvemente confiável de "contrato de facção" em PT BR.
A sugestão baseia-se na comparação de algumas definições de "toll manufacturing" e "contract manufacturing" em inglês (em geral, inúmeras e facilmente encontradas) com a definição q me pareceu + completa em português (onde as minhas pesquisas em geral são + demoradas e "desgastantes" e os resultados, nem sempre tão úteis.)
Re "factoring" em contexto financeiro, há inúmeros sites, mais ou menos complexos e complicados. http://www.edc.ca/english/exportfinanceguide/12134.htm, oferece uma definição interessante, mas longa para ser copiada aqui.
a bit more of the context would help, please....facção could mean the "factoring service" which would deal with the billing information, invoicing, etc....as well "facção" could mean "toll manufacturing" or a type of outsourcing where the french façon would indeed apply meaning o "feitio" e os pormenores da costura em execução do trabalho: talho, tecido, mão de obra, etc
