Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space / parts and components | | Portuguese term or phrase: partes vs. peças | This could just as easily be an automotive context.
Does anyone know if there is any substantive difference between "partes" and "peças", or are they both "parts" in English? Here's the poser I'm faced with:
"...motores de aeronaves, suas partes, módulos, componentes, peças, e acessórios". I want to avoid writing "parts" twice.
Admittedly, this sentence is lawyer-speak - the usual lawyers' long lists of near synonyms to cover all eventualities - it's not technical prose as such. |
