Portuguese term or phrase: Mima

My feeling is that this means "miles," but I am not sure.
Context is as follows:
"Ninguém pode operar uma aeronave transportando passageiros em vôo VFR noturno, ou VFR diurno em áreas controladas, a menos que ela tenha um equipamento rádio para comunicações bilaterais capaz, em vôo, de transmitir e receber uma estação de solo distante 25 mima pelo menos."

milha = medida de distância utilizada em aviação. Alguns aviões leves utilizam seus velocímetros calibrados em milhas terrestres (mite) por hora ou "mph" (origem do Exército americano - "statute mile"). Aviões modernos tendem a utilizar as milhas marítimas (mima) por hora,"nós" ou "kt" (origem das Marinhas Inglesa e Americana - "nautical mile"). Apesar do Sistema Internacional de Medidas adotar o "metro", somente aviões russos utilizam quilômetros por hora (km/h). Uma milha terrestre equivale a 1.609 metros e uma milha marítima (ou náutica) a 1.852 m.
