Após o cozimento, a soja é laminada para obter o formato ideal para a extração de óleo. Os laminadores possuem 2 cilindros lisos, e que possuem rotações diferentes e sentidos opostos para facilitar a laminação dos grãos. Os cilindros ficam quase que em contato ( aproximadamente a espessura das lâminas), sendo que a regulagem da distância entre estes é feita por um ajuste de pressão hidráulica, e são ajustados de acordo com a espessura desejada das lâminas. A pressão entre os cilindros dos laminadores em média fica entre 110 e 120 Kg/cm2. É importante observar que pelo fato do óleo da soja estar contido em “bolsões”, também conhecidos como “esferozomas”, e em capilares fibrosos, a laminação faz com que ocorra o rompimento destes bolsões, facilitando a extração do óleo presente...

| Grading comment Thank you all. Decision based on peer agreement, but I'm not 100% sure on this one, because "laminação" does include two rollers and the soybean is pressed.
