It seems that this element, that is chosen and retained from among all possible subjects, etc. is, by means of being chosen, etc., is CONFERRED these feelings and emotions, thus becoming *imbuido* of them Am I making any sense at all? |

The element would, as I see it, not be able to have properties such as "feelings" ascribed to it (or could the element refer to an animate being?).
