Madredeus: Alfama again

Explanation:
I have never set my eyes on the Graça
Of your eyes

Graça is the name of another typical neighborhood in Lisbon, and so is Alfama. There is a word pun here, since Graça also means grace, which becomes "Grace of your eyes".

never again was I graced / with the sight of your beloved eyes

Explanation:
I don't like "sight" either, especially with its repetition of the /ai/ diphthong. Perhaps "a glimpse" instead? The double meaning of "Graça" is untranslatable, I'd say. "Que eu amei" is too taggy at the end in English and needs to be folded in.
