UFIR or UFM? Explanation: I believe that there is a typo here because what we have is UFIR: Unidade Fiscal de Referência or Fiscal Reference Unit. The only other abbreviation with an M is the UFM or Unidade Fiscal do Município or Municipal Fiscal Unit. Please check your source for the right abbreviation. Unidade Fiscal de Referência do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul - UFERMS. Explanation: It means :Unidade Fiscal de Referência do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul - UFERMS. I hope it is self explanatory. Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul = It is the Mato Grosso do Sul State in Brazil. Happy translating. |

Unidade Fiscal de Referência do Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul Explanation: First of all I would like to congratulate Telef. Living in India he knows better about Brazil then a lot of brazilians (including myself) The UFs are an inheritance from the times of hyper-inflation and are meant to preserve the value of the fiscal income. UFIR is a federal measure, but states and even the biggest municipalities have their own UFs, as Lumen explained above. Márcio. |
