Aplicações das funções compostas

English translation:Composite or compounded functions or functions of functions
Explanation:
Both used. instead of a single variable like x,y.. ( simple function) they are made by compounding two or more functions. one function acts as independet variable of other. functions of functions is also used (Courant- Differential and Integral Calculus).
But perhaps Composite may be more suitable ( contray to simple functions). But when you need to explain ( in a text) the verb you should use compound.

compounded

Explanation:
Provavelmente CH está certa com o "composed", no sentido de que a coisa foi "composta, feita". Se "composta" fôr sinônimo de "combinada", então a tradução será "compounded".

    Depende do contexto.
