Portuguese term or phrase: "atacarejo"

... uma mistura de atacado e varejo (fórmula conhecida no mercado como “atacarejo”)...
I'm not quite sure whether "atacarejo" is the same as "cash-and-carry". Any suggestions?

Asker: Atacarejo is actually an invented word in Brazilian Portuguese and it refers to "wholesale + retail". Literature on the Internet shows "cash and carry" as a possible equivalence, but I'm not sure whether that is correct or not.

I just searched what I thought would make sense and found this. But I never heard the word before.

As for cash and carries, at least in Portugal, they are wholesalers.

Explanation:
Preferable to "wholetailing" as the activities are normally "wholesale" and "retail".

It is another new portmanteau word, along the lines of "infotainment" (information + entertainment) and "docusoap" (documentary + soap opera).
