From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Business incubators are programs designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by incubator management and offered both in the incubator and through its network of contacts. independent company

Explanation:
This is a very subjective term. The company has got past the initial stages, but is not what could be described as a "mature" company, which would suggest a successful track record. It's like a person who reaches 18 years of age. The company has become "independent" of the special protection of the "incubadora".
